About Our Nuclear Medicine Technology Program

Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Numbers

  • 2.5: minimum GPA to be eligible to apply
  • 70: minimum score for each section of the HESI A2 Admission Exam
  • 2: consecutive years to complete our program
  • 17: up to 17 applicants awarded a seat each application period—depending on availability of clinic rotations at the time
  • 35–50: average number of prospective students who apply to our program each application period
  • $4,140: program tuition and fees (does not include books and uniforms)

Our Mission

To provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the field of Nuclear Medicine Technology through structured didactic courses, laboratory participation and clinical experiences.

How Our Program Works

Time Commitment

You need to commit to a full-time schedule for 5 consecutive semesters (2 consecutive years).

You must also be able to plan your other coursework around the schedule of core Nuclear Medicine Technology courses.

Part-time, weekend and distance learning are not available.

Schedule

Program courses, labs, and clinics are generally held Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Clinics may start as early as 6 a.m. and possibly include afternoon or evening rotations.

Grades

Successful completion of this program requires a grade of “C” (75 percent) or better in all courses.

Program tuition and fees: $4,140 (does not include books and uniforms)
