Full-Time vs. Part-Time Enrollment

How many hours do I need take to be considered a full-time student?

Semester Full-Time Course Load
Fall 12+ credit hours
Spring 12+ credit hours
Summer 12+ credit hours for full summer semester

However, if you're enrolled in Wintermester or Maymester, you should talk to your campus Admissions and Registrar Office to determine how these sessions might affect your enrollment status.

What is the maximum number of hours I can take?

The College reserves the right to limit the course load of any student.

Students using veteran benefits may have different requirements based on their calculations for rate of pursuit. You should contact the Veterans Resource Center to understand the loads and limits that may apply to your situation.
