Community and Industry Education Parking Permits

Community & Industry Education student parking permits are free, and are only required for classes on the Trinity River Campus or Trinity River Campus East. The Trinity River Campus Admissions and Registrar Office issues your parking permit once you register.

Get Your Parking Permit

You need:

  • Current driver's license
  • Student statement

To print your student statement from Self-Service after you register and pay for your courses:

  1. Log in to WebAdvisor
  2. Select Students
  3. Select Self-Service - Student Account (located under the Business Services heading)
  4. Choose your term from the list (for example: 2016SU, 2016FL, 2017SP); this is located under the Account Overview heading
  5. Select View Statement, located on the right-hand side of the screen
  6. Print your statement

Display Your Parking Permit

Hang your permit from the rearview mirror with the permit front number side facing the windshield. Temporary permits are placed on the dashboard on the lower right-hand corner of the passenger side, so they can be read through the windshield.

Keep Track of the Expiration Date

Parking permits have expiration dates printed on them. You must renew your parking permit after it expires.

Replace a Lost Parking Permit

Replacement fee: $5

Contact the Trinity River Campus police office for payment instructions.

Get a Temporary Permit

You may receive a temporary permit if you don't bring your hanging permit to campus. They are issued for one day only and have your permanent permit number written on it.

You can get a temporary permit from your campus police department from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. After 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, you can obtain them from Trinity River Campus Business Services.
