Institutional Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Research supports the District's efforts to continually improve by overseeing the systematic documentation of performance measures for all administrative planning units through the institutional effectiveness process.

The institutional effectiveness process starts with the development of annual institutional effectiveness plans (IEPs). Each administrative planning unit develops and implements a plan that flows from the District's overall strategic plan, thereby ensuring that each unit plan is engaged in activities that support institutional priorities and facilitate achieving the District's mission.

At the end of each IEP cycle, administrative planning units use the findings to develop action plans for continuous improvement. Thus, the mainstay of the District's institutional effectiveness process is the submission and implementation of the IEPs.
