Middle School Academic Year Program

South Campus

  • Generation Hope
    Take part in a 3-year college preparatory middle school education program that focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) curricula. Generation Hope helps economically disadvantaged students advance in the classroom and in life.

Summer Program

  • TexPREP
    Earn high school credit, prepare for college and sharpen your skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). TexPREP a 7-week academic enrichment summer program that helps you prepare for careers in STEM fields.

  • College for Kids
    Go to college during the summer and participate in a wide variety of exciting classes designed for kids in grades 1–8.

Northeast Campus

  • Choir Camp
    Learn Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Choir Music for district, region and area tryouts

Endorsement Camps

Learn about different degrees, certificates and careers in our endorsement camps and be ready to choose your high school endorsement in 9th grade.

Northwest Campus

  • Art & Humanities Endorsement
    Learn about degrees, certificates and careers in art, music, theater, language and publishing.
  • Dance
    Take your dance moves to a new level with classes on ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz and hip hop.
  • Teen vs Wild
    Explore the outdoors and develop teamwork, leadership, survival skills and more.

Southeast Campus

  • Culinary Camp
    Enjoy hands-on experience cooking in a professional kitchen.

STEM Camps (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

Students will participate in hands-on, project-based learning that provides them with excellent opportunities to begin exploring STEM fields and to chart a course for future STEM education and workforce opportunities.

Trinity River Campus

  • Pathways Camp
    Learn the basic elements of computer coding in a fun and creative environment.
  • Latina STEM Fellowship Camp
    Develop science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills.
  • Nursing Summer Camp
    Learn about the nursing programs offered at TCC and what skills you need to become a nurse.

Additional Information

  • Health Information: Learn what to do if your child is sick or injured, and how to keep them ready to learn during their time in classes.
  • Parents: Learn about lunch periods and drop-off times.
  • Policies: Find policies about payment, transportation, ID cards, behavior dismissals and more.
  • Safety: Get important tips for keeping your child safe during their time at TCC.
