The Law Enforcement Academy can provide on-site training to assist the Tarrant County Law Enforcement Community in its training needs.

Arrangements can be made to provide training from our existing curricula and our in-service training schedule for your agency or a combined group of agencies. We can also develop a custom program to meet your specific needs.

How to Register for In-Service Training

Returning or Former Students

Please contact the Law Enforcement Academy to register for a course.

New Students

If you are a new student attending in-service courses for the first time, you must register in 2 places:

1. Via the continuing education (CE) enrollment form
2. With the Law Enforcement Academy

CE Enrollment Form

Contact us to receive the CE enrollment form.

Your form must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled training to ensure the information is received by the Admissions and Registrar Office before the start of classes.

You are:

• Required to submit the enrollment form only one time.
• Encouraged to retain your Colleague ID # (this number is provided through the enrollment process) for all future classes or training.

All questions regarding registration status should be submitted to the Admissions and Registrar Office at 817-515-4REG.

Law Enforcement Academy Registration

After you submit the CE enrollment form, you must contact the Law Enforcement Academy to register for specific courses.
