Nurses and nursing students who are interested in learning about the legal implications of professional nursing practice.

Lawyers and law students who are interested in health law.

What you will learn

After attending the virtual mock trial you will be able to:

  • Identify standards of care that regulate nursing practice
  • Identify basic legal terminology related to nursing negligence
  • Recognize the importance of complete and accurate documentation
  • Describe legal implications of professional nursing practice
  • Identify 3 ways to decrease legal risks in nursing practice.
