Greetings from the Chief of Police

Chief Jay Tillerson

Welcome to the Tarrant County College Police Department. It is my honor to serve as your Chief of Police and to lead a team of dedicated professionals committed to protecting the TCC community.

Our mission is simple: to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where students, faculty, staff, and visitors can learn, work, and thrive. We approach this mission with integrity, professionalism, and a strong emphasis on community engagement. Safety is a shared responsibility, and together we can build an environment where everyone feels valued and protected.

The TCC Police Department operates 24/7 across all campuses, offering a full range of police services—from emergency response and crime prevention to community outreach and safety education. We take pride in our partnership-based approach to policing, working alongside our campus community to foster trust, transparency, and collaboration.

Whether you are new to Tarrant County College or a returning member of our community, we want you to know that your safety is our priority. Please explore our resources, connect with our officers, and never hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.

Thank you for being part of the TCC community. We are here for you, every step of the way.
