NCTA-Certified Test Center

Our testing center offers secure, monitored testing for students, employees, and community members. Our mission is to promote student success, serve the community, and excel at administering exams in a secure, high-quality, service-oriented manner.

We adhere to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) (opens in a new window) Professional Standards and Guidelines.

What to expect at PCC:

  • Secure, proctored testing environment
  • 24/7 video monitoring

  • Accommodations are available based on current testing environment and operational capabilities

Exams Scheduled Through PCC

  • Cost: $25 proctoring fee and a $3.50 processing fee (credit or debit only)

    • Complete qualifying requirements before you register for exam

Academic and Institutional Exams

PCC proctors exams for students enrolled at other colleges and universities.

After you schedule your exam, ask your instructor to email the exam instructions to ProfessionalTesting@tccd.edu.

Certification or Professional Licensing

PCC administers selected certification and professional licensing exams.

Before scheduling your exam:

  • For written exams sent by mail, call PCC at 817-515-7653 to confirm that we have received your exam
  • For other exams, you must provide an approval email from the program director

Available exams:

  • Test of English Proficiency (TEP)
  • Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD)
  • Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM)
  • Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA)
  • Licensed Child Placing Agency (LCPA)
  • Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN)

Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)

TCEQ Logo

PCC is an authorized TCEQ computer-based testing center.

A TCEQ application approval letter is required before scheduling your exam.

Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP)

TCFP LogoPCC is an authorized TCFP computer-based testing center.

A TCFP eligibility letter is required before scheduling your exam. Bring a printed copy of the letter on your exam day.

Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE)

TCOLE LogoPCC is an authorized TCOLE computer-based testing center.

A TCOLE PID number is required before scheduling your exam.

National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS)

Nims LogoPCC is an authorized NIMS testing center.

A valid NIMS account and a purchased exam are required before scheduling your exam.

Exams Scheduled Through Testing Providers

Report to the PCC on your scheduled exam day. Bring required documentation, including a valid driver's license or passport. Please follow vendor instructions.

Pearson VUE
