IRB Authority

The Tarrant County College District (TCCD) Institutional Review Board (IRB) is guided by the ethical principles described in the Belmont Report and by the regulations of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services found at Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 46.

TCCD holds a Federal-Wide Assurance (FWA) through the Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) to provide a safe environment for students and employees that conduct human subject research within the TCCD.
