In our Vacuum Technology program, you will:
- Understand the basics of the semiconductor industry, like equipment, vocabulary, and safety standards
- Learn about vacuum principles, pumping systems, leak detection, and more
- Develop vacuum-related skills as you progress in your courses
- Study programmable logic controllers
- Work with physical vapor deposition (PVD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and related systems
- Learn how to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems and equipment
- Train on the safety and use of test equipment
After completing our program, you will be able to:
- Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment
- Interpret technical documentation
- Follow industry safety and quality standards
