How to Apply for Upward Bound

You must meet eligibility requirements before applying for the Upward Bound program.

1. Fill out an application
   
   • Complete the online Upward Bound application,
     or
   • Pick up an application (and flyers) in the counseling offices of the following high schools:
     • Everman (PDF)Listen 
     • O. D. Wyatt (PDF)Listen
     • South Hills (PDF)Listen
2. Get 2 teacher recommendations
   • Print 2 teacher recommendation forms (PDF)Listen and ask 2 of your teachers to fill them out for you.
3. Complete required financial documentation
   • Print the Upward Bound financial form (PDF)Listen and ask your parents to fill in the required information.
4. Submit your application and supporting materials
   
   • Turn in your application, teacher recommendations and your family's financial documentation
   • Submit your documents to one of the following:
     • Your high school counselor
     • Upward Bound personnel
     • TRIO Program office (South Campus, SACA 1108)
