Mosaic Dance Project
The Mosaic Dance Project is Northwest Campus's touring company comprised of dancers selected through auditions who seek opportunities for performing and community outreach.
Being a Member of Mosaic
What You Need to Know
Members of Mosaic have the opportunity to:
- Learn and perform collegiate and pre-professional level repertoire
- Focus on community outreach and engagement by bridging higher education with K-12 schools and local dance studios
We mentor company members to become versatile artists through a variety of performance opportunities:
- Producing original student choreography
- Developing teaching skills
- Connecting with professionals in the field
Selected company members of Mosaic Dance Project receive scholarships for dance study at TCC Northwest.
Company members are expected to build upon pre-existing skills and gain new experience in genres, including:
- Ballet (classical and contemporary)
- Modern & contemporary dance
- Hip-hop
- Jazz (traditional, jazz funk, street jazz, musical theater, fusion)
- Tap
- Cultural dance forms

Audition Information
About Auditions
Mosaic Dance Project holds auditions in summer, fall, and spring for the academic year. During the auditions, you will:
- Learn and perform 2 movement combinations from either of the following styles:
- Modern/Contemporary
- Jazz
- Hip-hop
- Ballet
- Perform an optional solo of any dance genre/style.
- The solo work must be original.
- Length: 60–90 seconds, with music prepared in advance.
- Meet & greet with a Q&A session.
Requirements
You must have:
- Experience in 1 or more of the following genres of dance:
- Ballet
- Modern/Contemporary
- Jazz
- Musical theater
- Hip-hop
- Cultural dance forms
- Willingness to:
- Explore diverse dance forms
- Work with a variety of choreographers to develop strong performance skills
Spring 2026 Audition Details
Date and Time
- Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 6–7:30 p.m.
- Monday, February 2, 2026, 3:30-6 p.m.
Note: The studio is open 1 hour prior to audition time for dancers to warm up. You will have time to prepare a sound check for music if you opt to perform a solo.
