Auditions

Audition for TCC South Theatre

The TCC South Carillon Theater Company has existed since 1967, longer than any theater program in the District. 

Auditions are usually at the beginning of the semester with cold readings or prepared monologues/songs depending on the requirements of the upcoming production.

Note: Priority is given to students registered in Theater Practicum DRAM 1120 or 1121. 

Fall 2026 Auditions

Audition Schedule and Location

• Date and time: Monday, August 31, 2026, 2:30 p.m.
• Callbacks: TBD
• Location: TCC South Mainstage (SC06 1203)

Audition Requirements

We will create our own Halloween Show.  Make sure that what you choose to audition with is something you like.  Memorization is a plus, but not mandatory. 

• Prepare 2, one-minute contrasting pieces with Halloween as the theme (1 comedic, 1 dramatic).
• Pieces could be monologues, songs, poems or dance (bring your own track for songs or dance).

Rehearsal Schedule

• Dates: Monday/Wednesday, September 14-December 9
• Times: 2:30-4:15 p.m. until Tech/Dress Rehearsal/Performance week (October 23-31)
