Auditions
Audition for Theatre Northwest
Theatre Northwest seeks to improve, develop and build a community through theatre performances. Theatre Northwest holds auditions at the beginning of the semester unless otherwise noted.
All TCC students and community members are encouraged to audition. Most auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and vocal auditions with cold readings for Musicals. If you are interested in auditioning for a production with Theatre Northwest, please reach out to NWVPA@tccd.edu.
If you are interested in assisting backstage for a production, we encourage you to enroll in Stagecraft or Theatre Practicum. Stagecraft teaches you the basic terminology and techniques for technical theater and Theatre Practicum is a practical class for technical theater techniques in practice. The Wind in the Willows

Audition Dates and Times
- Audition: August 26-27, 5-7 p.m.
- Location: NW02 Theater
Rehearsal Dates and Times
Rehearsal schedule will be determined later based on cast availability.
Roles to be Cast
We need 8 actors for this show. However, we may cast more roles based on availability and willingness to participate.
Main cast:
- Mole: A meek animal who is seeing the world for the first time.
- Rat: A sailor by trade, afraid to admit faults.
- Otter: A trusty friend who doesn't know where his son is.
- Badger: An old curmudgeon who helps his friends.
- Toad: A boastful, egotistical Toad with little bit of heart.
Ensemble roles:
- Weasel number 1/judge/conductor
- Weasel number 2/Elspeth/police number 2/clerk
- Weasel number 3/police number 1/gaoler/townsperson
