The Wind in the Willows
By Kenneth Grahame
Adapted and Directed by Derek Salazar
Theatre Northwest presents an original adaptation of a beloved classic of children’s literature.
The story begins with Mole, who always yearns for something more in life. He later finds a peaceful meadow and river where he makes new friends with Toad, Badger, Ratty, and Otter. Toad's obsession with motorcars creates chaos and causes a lot of trouble. He ends up in jail because of his reckless behavior. Badger, Ratty, Otter, and Mole try to help him. They fight to protect Toad Hall from the Wild Wooders. Through these challenges, the characters learn what it means to be a true friend.
This show is part of our children’s theatre programming. We invite families to come and enjoy the experience of live theatre together.
