*Tarrant County College District was awarded a Governor’s Summer Merit Program grant for Summer 2025. The Governor’s Summer Merit Program provides youth interested in a STEM field to enroll in a camp that focuses on science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).

Camp Highlights

Learn what healthcare professionals encounter on a daily basis and the basic skills to be successful in a nursing career. Topics include EKG, Phlebotomy, Vocational Nursing, and skills including communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. You will also attend a CPR Certification course and be eligible to earn your CPR certification upon successfully completing the exam.
