Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment allows high school students to earn college credit and receive the benefits and resources of a traditional TCC student. Fulfill high school graduation requirements and gain college credit at the same time.

We offer 3 types of dual enrollment options:

• Dual Credit: Get a head start on your degree and save tuition money. Starting in 11th and 12th grade, earn college and high school credit at the same time. Plan your transfer to a university early.
• Early College High School (ECHS): Start college courses as early as the 9th grade with this cohort-based program. Graduate with a high school diploma and an associate degree.
• Pathways in Technology High Schools (P-TECH): Beginning in 9th grade, combine high school and college into one career-training program. Gain certifications and experience to prepare for work right out of high school.

Concurrent Enrollment

If your high school is not a dual enrollment partner, you can take courses concurrently. As a concurrent student, you receive TCC credit for all courses and access to TCC resources, but you are not guaranteed high school credit. High school credit is determined at the discretion of your high school administrators.
