Adult Education and Literacy Enrollment
Enroll in our free Adult Education Literacy (AEL) Program to be able to take the following classes:
- High School Equivalency (HSE formerly known as GED®, Bi-Lingual)
- ESL and ESL Professionals
- Transition to College Course
- Integrated Education Training (IET)
- Adult Vocational Academy (AVA)
Our steps walk you through the process, from applying for admission to taking a seat in the classroom.
Get Started
Before you begin, make sure you understand AEL eligibility requirements.
Once you are ready, follow these instructions to get started with the AEL program:
- Begin the interest form: ConnectABLE Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County Interest Form (opens in a new window).
- Select Tarrant County College as your service provider
- Upload all required documents
- Complete all required fields and select Next on the form
- Make your appointment for orientation: On the next page of the interest form, you will:
- Select a date and time for AEL Student Success Session (orientation)
- Complete all required fields and select Next on the form to confirm
- Receive a text that confirms your appointment details
- Create a password for your account: You will receive an email with a link to create a password for your ConnectABLE account.
- Please remember to bring your log in information to AEL Student Success Session
After you do complete these 3 steps, you are ready to attend AEL Student Success Session. Do not complete the rest of the form. We will continue the form together at Orientation.
