How to Get PLA Credit: IB Diploma
Apply your International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma credit to your degree or certificate program.
We work together in the PLA process:
- You
- The Trinity River Campus Registrar’s Office
- You
- Submit your IB Diploma to TCC through the IB secure website
- Trinity River Campus Registrar’s Office
- Verifies and posts course credit as it applies to your program of study
- The IB Diploma must be awarded to be eligible for course credit
- A minimum score of 4 in each subject is required
- A maximum of 24 IB semester credit hours may be awarded
- Applies credit to your transcript after census date(s) but before current semester has ended
- Sends you an email regarding the status of your request
- Verifies and posts course credit as it applies to your program of study
- You
- Check My Progress or Unofficial Transcript in MyTCCTrack to confirm credit(s) are posted
- A grade of "CR" will be posted on your transcript for each course approved for credit
- There is no fee for posting IB credit to your transcript
- Check My Progress or Unofficial Transcript in MyTCCTrack to confirm credit(s) are posted
