Application Timeline

• October 1: Application Open
  The committee starts accepting inquiries about program applications and scheduling interviews.

• March 30: Application Closed
  The committee will provide an application link. Complete and submit your application by March 30.

• May 15: Application Status Result
  The committee will review the applications and notify you about your application status by May 15.

Am I eligible to apply?

You must have:

• A completed bachelor’s degree or higher (any degree or field)
• A minimum GPA of 2.5
• Proof of English proficiency if English was not the primary language of your high school

Class Size Limit

We can accept a maximum of 25 candidates for each class.

If you qualify but are not among the first 25 accepted, we will place you on a waiting list if a selected candidate withdraws.

How do I apply to Long Term Care Administration?

Complete the following steps to apply to the Long Term Care Administration (LTCA) program:

1. Apply to TCC.
2. Contact Dr. Jon Connelly at jon.connelly@tccd.edu to request an interview and send an updated resume for review by the faculty. 
3. Attend a virtual interview with a member of the LTCA Faculty. We will send you an email to schedule an interview.
4. Submit a professional writing sample within one week of the interview. Instructions for the writing sample will be provided during the interview. 

5. Schedule an appointment with an advisor following the faculty interview.

6. Apply to the LTCA program. 

• Following paper submission and review by faculty, we will send you a link to officially apply for the program. 
• The deadline for applications is March 30.  

Upon review of the application process, faculty will notify applicants of program status by May 15.
