  • 15: maximum number of applicants accepted each application period
  • 40: credit hours to earn the certificate
  • 2: number of semesters to complete the MA Program

Our Mission

The Medical Assistant Program prepares multi-skilled medical assistants to deliver quality and safe care in a dynamic healthcare environment through didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences that lead to gainful employment upon graduation.

How Our Program Works

Applicants

The number of applicants we accept is based upon clinical availability.

Time Commitment

You need to commit to full-time schedule for 2 semesters (40 credit hours).

Part-time and distance learning are not available at this time.

Schedule

Program courses and labs are generally held Thursday through Sunday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Clinics

Clinics are arranged with the program director. Our MA Program requires a total of 192 clinic hours.

Our program director will create and coordinate schedules based upon availability.

Grades

Successful completion of this program requires a grade of “C” or better in all courses.

Cost

Program tuition and fees: $2,760 (does not include books, immunizations, or other program-related fees)
