Distance Education State Authorization Statement
TCC Connect offers online educational opportunities to students residing temporarily or permanently outside the state of Texas. The United States Department of Education (USDE) requires schools to check if students meet the licensure/certification requirements in the State where they intend to work, before they can enroll in or switch to another program in the Occupational License Program List.
If you reside outside of the state of Texas, please contact a career advisor for all direct notices that may be applicable to your state of residence.
TCC is an approved participating institution in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). This allows TCC Connect to conduct online activities within the NC-SARA member states.
Distance Learning Complaint Resolution for Out-of-State Students
You are encouraged to discuss concerns and complaints with TCC Connect faculty and/or personnel directly and should expect a timely and appropriate response. If an issue cannot be resolved informally, formal due process is available through TCC's student complaint process that can be found in TCC Student Handbook. If an issue cannot be resolved within TCC, you can file a complaint with the agency in your state of residency.
