Follow these steps to apply to our Paramedic Programs
Step 1: Apply to TCC
Apply online with ApplyTCC (use Firefox or Chrome for the best experience)

Once you are accepted as a student at TCC, you will get a TCC Student ID number.
You need a TCC Student ID number for your application to our Paramedic Programs.
Step 2: Make sure you are eligible to apply
What are the requirements?
Step 3: Get 2 sets of current official transcripts
You will need to submit your official college transcripts with your application to the Health Sciences Department.
- Have 1 official transcript sent to the TCC Admissions and Registrar Office: Submit Your Transcript
- Have 1 official transcript in electronic format to upload when you complete the online application
If you have not attended college or if you will have fewer than 12 college semester hours by the application deadline, you will need to submit your official high school transcript(s).
International Students
Contact International Student Admissions & Compliance (817-515-1570) at least 8 weeks before the application deadline to schedule an appointment if you have international transcripts.
Step 4: Complete the EMS Employment verification or sponsorship form
Tuition Waiver
You may be eligible to qualify for a tuition exemption waiver if you:
- Are you currently employed by a political subdivision of the state of Texas, and
- Hold a current EMT Certificate issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services

Third-Party Sponsorship (Tuition Paid Employer)
A third-party sponsor assumes responsibility for your tuition or fees. The third-party sponsor can be any of the following:
- Employer
- Public or private organization
- Government agency
- 529 college savings plan

Step 5: Submit your application by the deadline
Fill out and submit your online application
- An online application link will be available once the application period opens. Please check back at a later time.
Is my application complete?
Upon submission, your complete application must include the following supporting documents:
- 2 official transcripts from all colleges—including TCC—you have attended:
- 1 official transcript sent to the TCC Admissions and Registrar Office: Submit Your Transcript
- 1 official transcript in electronic format uploaded to your online application
- Copy of Texas EMT Certificate
- EMS Employment verification or sponsorship form—if applicable
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination (3-shot series)
Note: No late applications will be accepted.
Step 6: Attend Top Applicant Meeting—mandatory if you are invited
If you are invited and fail to attend, you will be removed from the Paramedic Class selection process.
