Code Red STEM Camp

- Cost: Free for 20 eligible students*
*Tarrant County College District was awarded a Governor's Summer Merit Program grant for Summer 2025. The Governor's Summer Merit Program provides youth interested in a STEM field to enroll in a camp that focuses on science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).
Students with a disability who are referred by a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor will receive priority enrollment preference, as space allows.
Camp Highlights
Our camp will focus on Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Topics include first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), trauma care, and emergency response techniques.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Practice first aid skills, including wound care, bandaging, and splinting
- Earn CPR and first aid certifications
- Experience realistic medical scenarios
- Explore career fields in Health Science
This camp includes a field trip to the Fire/Rescue Training Center at Northwest Campus.
