Birdville ISD Scholarship

The Birdville ISD Scholarship was created in partnership with Birdville ISD (BISD). This award supports recent graduates of BISD in their pursuit of academic excellence.

Scholarship Benefits

This scholarship ensures tuition for 2 consecutive semesters and is only available for fall and spring semesters. The maximum award per semester is $960. This scholarship is for tuition only and does not cover books or digital materials.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a BISD graduating senior who attended a BISD school for both junior and senior years
    • Early graduates must have completed their junior and senior credits at a BISD school
  • Enroll at TCC during the first fall or spring semester immediately following high school graduation (except in cases of deferment due to active U.S. military service)
  • Enroll at TCC for a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester

You are ineligible if you:

  • Receive the Stars of Tomorrow Scholarship
  • Receive $960 or more per semester from other TCC financial assistance programs or federal/state funding
    • If you receive less than $960 per semester from other TCC financial assistance programs or federal/state funding, you may receive the difference between that funding amount and $960.

How do I remain eligible?

You will receive a second semester scholarship if you achieve a minimum 2.5 GPA and complete a minimum of 6 credit hours in the first semester.

Meet with an advisor and contact the financial aid office before dropping any course(s).

How do I apply?

To qualify for the Stars of Tomorrow program, you're required to:

  1. Apply for admission to TCC.
  2. Apply for financial aid by completing either the FAFSA or TASFA. Learn more about financial aid eligibility.
  3. Meet scholarship eligibility requirements.
