Scholarship Application Dates
Application and award notification dates update each year. You must complete a new application each year to be considered for the current cycle.
- Application Opens: February 16, 2026
- Application Closes: April 15, 2026
- Award Notifications Begin: August 1, 2026
How to Apply
To apply for TCC Foundation Scholarships, you must:
- Log in to the online scholarship application.
This login information is the same as your student information. For password assistance, please see Student Login and Password Help.
- Complete and submit the general form.
During the general application, you will:
- Respond to open-ended questions
- Write a 300 to 400-word narrative essay
- Provide transcripts (if not already on file)
You will be considered for the general scholarships for which you qualify. Based on your answers, we will also match you with other, more specific scholarships that require separate applications.

- Share your goals, challenges, and motivation
- Be authentic—your story matters
- Proofread carefully
- Visit a campus Writing Center for help
- Highlight achievements, including:
- Academic accomplishments
- Volunteer work
- Leadership roles
- Work experience
After You've Applied
You can log into your scholarship application to check your award status.
If you are selected for a scholarship, you will also receive an email offer sent to your my.tccd.edu email address. The email will contain a scholarship acceptance packet and post-acceptance instructions.
Students have 2 weeks from the offer date to complete the post-acceptance questionnaire. If you do not complete the post-acceptance instructions, the scholarship offer will be rescinded and offered to another well-qualified student.
How Scholarships Are Applied to Your Account
Scholarship funds will be applied to your account at TCC. If there are remaining funds after all balances are paid, a refund will be processed. Learn more about refunds.
