After passing the ESOL courses, you will be ready to take college-credit courses.

How do I register for ESOL classes?

Follow these instructions to register.

1. Apply to TCC.
2. Take the TSI Assessment or Michigan English Placement Test (M-EPT) at your campus's Testing Center. These tests will place you into a class that best meets your abilities.
3. Register for ESOL classes.

What classes do I take if I am an F-1 visa student?

If you are on an F-1 visa and did not meet the English proficiency admission standards, enroll in our Language Pathway Program.
