You do not have to fill out a program application for this Occupational Skills Award (OSA) program

Options

You can complete this OSA:

  • By itself and without completing a degree
  • As part of your Nutrition & Dietetics, A.A.S. degree
  • As an elective for your Associate of Arts degree

Transfer to a Registered Dietitian Program

We recommend you complete certificates in both Healthy Meal Planning and Nutrition Specialist I if you are completing the A.A. degree and plan to transfer to a Registered Dietitian program.

Stackable Certificates

Courses within the Healthy Meal Planning Occupational Skills Award (OSA) are also part of the requirements of the following programs. You can easily complete additional courses to earn the following certificates and degree.

Licensing Notice: Texas House Bill 1508

This program prepares you for an occupational license. However, you may not be eligible for licensing if you have a prior criminal history.
